Meters are not included

The kit does not include meters. At least one home needs a supported consumption meter, and your electrician installs it. The hub itself needs no electrical work.

The meter must be one of the supported models listed on the Equipment page; unsupported meters cannot be read by the hub. See the supported meters and check what you need.

What it does

The hub only reads. It never controls or switches anything in your home.

  1. Plug it in

    Connect power and join the hub's own Wi-Fi with your phone.

  2. Pick your Wi-Fi

    Choose your home Wi-Fi, or use a network cable. About five minutes.

  3. Add it in the app

    Type the code from your setup card to link the hub to your property.

Solar Split collects these details to email you about the Home Kit and to see which equipment to support first. Email and state are required. We delete your details after 24 months. If you unsubscribe we erase everything except your email address, which we keep so we never email you again. See the privacy policy and the terms of use.

When will it be available?

We do not have a date, and we have not committed to selling kits. We will email everyone on the waitlist if that changes.

How much will it cost?

No price is set. We will tell you the price before anything can be bought.

What happens when I join the waitlist?

We send a confirmation with an unsubscribe link and email you only about the Home Kit. We delete your details after 24 months.

Do I need a meter?

Yes, on at least one home, and the kit does not include one. Check the supported meters. If yours is not listed, email sales@solar-split.com.
